On a hot day, a little warming internally made you sweat a little more, and then the evaporative effect cools you. In the cold, a cold drink tells your body to cut off the blood vessels near the surface, so as to retain heat in the core. If you're doing something smart and you don't know it's smart, does that make you smart?
