CNN actually shed a moonbat? Astonishing!
Susan was a long time CBS anchor babe in New Orleans and very popular–her lefty inclinations somehow never surfaced during her tenure in what is basically a conservative town. She was a contemporary and rival of Hoda Kotb, who left just a little bit before Susan’s departure to go to NYC and is now an NBC morinng show staple. Susan originally left for National Geographic, (to “expand her horizons”, as it were, with “bold new projects”) but was back in a couple of years tail between legs working as a field reporter for the ABC affiliate (what a come-down, eh?) and simultaneously working as a stringer for CNN and NPR radio. That lasted about a year and a half until she left again (sans fanfare) and resurfaced with CNN out of Chicago covering the mid-west. Failing marital relations are rumored to be at the heart (pun intended) of all these moves. Don’t know if she’s divorced or not, but think she recently is.
