Joe effectively trashed the opening sentence, pointing out Eugene's selective memory -- which ignored <a href="http://www.wethepeople.la/bush2.htm" rel="nofollow">this</a> and <a href="http://www.scrippsnews.com/911poll" rel="nofollow">this</a> and <a href="http://www.geocities.com/thereaganyears/1980election" rel="nofollow">this</a>. Selective outrage isn't the exclusive province of one side or another. It is just that one has a larger megaphone.
