The Iranian regime admits to certain irregularities with respect to democratic protesters:
Iran’s defeated opposition presidential candidate has said that some protesters held after last month’s disputed poll were tortured to death in prison.
The claim by Mehdi Karroubi comes days after he said a number of prisoners, both male and female, had been raped.
Officials deny the rape claims, but admit that abuses have taken place.
Went right past the head slapping, cold cells and waterboarding to the “tortured to death”. All for the greater good, I’m sure.
Just don’t, you know: Criticize. This was a purely internal matter, and who are we to judge?
Extended hands and unclenched fists, and that.

Always tried to teach my sailors (and my kids) that there are people out there that will hurt you just for the fun of it. Methinks those people may have found gainful employment in the Iranian government.
By their fruits you shall know them…
Inspired by the Iranian government’s innovative handling of its political opposition the Obama administration has decided to keep the prison at Guantanamo open and will utilize it for the “detention and re-education” of the more vocal attendees at recent congressional town-hall meetings. Citizens are invited to nominate potential recipients by emailing win_a_trip@whitehouse.gov.
Who says the rest of the world has nothing to teach us? I’m glad our arrogance is being left behind and we can now credit a stinking, rotting, manically run nation for such a wonderful idea to help run our internal affairs “better.”
I bet The WON might be will to share our advancement in prison coddling with maybe Hugo…coz he wants to be a good neighbor, ya know.
OT6P: That’s a keeper!
