What’s with all the F/A-18 guys always wearing their masks? Back in the day, you could tell the real salts by how long it took to pop off the bayonet clip and let it “hang”. Only wankers worried about NATOPS BS rules would wear their mask takeoff to landing. Has that all changed now with the “new generation”?
This is a clip from the PBS series Carrier. They had a film crew on the Nimitz for an extended cruise including stops in Guam and on station supporting OIF.
