Update: You’ve got to love this comment from Brit Hume on Van Jones, in particular -

The shocking thing is that these folks aren’t considered all that big a deal. It like “oops we got caught” and then they go on just doing the same old, same old.
It’s all because Fox reports it and, “not being a news organization”, it simply mustn’t be news….
We are also leaving out Robert Reich who holds views, and is on tape at Berkeley, I believe, stating them, that “we” in the royal Democrat sense, ‘are going to make healthcare decisions which will allow the elderly to die earlier.’ And he’s otherwise a pretty radical guy whose views were lefty enough that he was finally pushed to the side during the Clinton administration.
My guess is that there are far, far more in the Obama administration who hold similar views – why else are the buddies of The Socialist One??

These are very dangerous times we live in. The Obama administration, into it’s 10 month, is only making it more so, on many fronts including, but not limited to, the FOX issue and Obama’s horrific czar and cabinet appointments. I fear for my children.
The Obama Administration knows that the “Big Lie” method works. Keep telling it often enough and the unintelligent, ignorant, self-indulgent, majority of the US electorate will believe it. Marginalize an objective observer and truth gets buried. Worked in Nazi Germany, Worked in Bolshevik Russia, worked in Red China. The First Amendmendment is only as good as long as it is protected. What you are witnessing now is the systematic decommissioning of it by the likes of Rahm Immanuel, Axeman extraordinaire, and David Axelrod and their ilk with the full knowledge and consent of Obama.
The attack on religious freedom is also in full vigor. If the Far Left get their way, people of Faith will be silenced just as they are in Canada.
The nightmare is only just beginning. Europe is doomed and these people in charge now are committed in their mission to follow Europe. Nice cheery thought for the evening.
I was babysitting my 16 month old grandson this evening and couldn’t help but pity him for the country he will grow up into. Thirty years ago I couldn’t have conceived of this nation arriving at this point. In retrospect, all the signs were there if one looked with any insight.

Anyone know of a tote board where the “indiscretions” under this administration are being tracked? Between tax cheats, house ethics rules violations, “czars” of ill repute, etc, I’ll bet the list is quite lengthy and sure to continue to grow. We need a list with clickable links to highlight the individual and their sins – an electronic grading report card.
Were I not travelling (business, and at least there is no snow yet) thru three of the Great Midwestern States of OH, MI and KY, I would try to do so. Challenge would be keeping to one page, even single spaced!

The O Team attack on Fox is classic of tactics right out of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals,” the book Obama taught from when he was a community organizer and Hillary wrote her senior thesis about when she was at Wellesley. “Rules” is highly recommended reading if you can stomach it. It’s a manual that seems to lay out how this administration works. As a forewarning to potential readers on what to expect, Alinsky dedicates his acknowledgments in the front of the book to Lucifer. Seriously. Ugh.

A Christian clergyman who speaks from the pulpit in condemnation of homosexual behavior is at risk of being hauled into court in your country. No? Certainly has a chilling effect on freedom of religion and speech.
Correct me if I am wrong but I can recall several cases from various news sources.

Which reminds me, why are some of you so quick to pick on Canada for even having human rights commissions? I was honestly starting to think that no such creatures existed in the US until I learned otherwise. Maybe there’s hope for you after all.
I always found the announcement “Shooting No-Loads off CAT 3″ to be a little funny, because in my mind I could imagine several people whom I considered no-loads. The voters are slowly becoming aware of who the no-loads really are. I just hope that it is happening fast enough.
For the non carrier initiated out there, No-Loads are catapult shots without any aircraft attached for the purpose of warming up the catapult cylinder to normal operating temperature. The portion that comes up through the deck is called the shuttle, which can be dangerous as it accelerates down the track. So, every morning before the commencement of flight ops, the warning announcement “shooting no-loads off cat whatever” is made for the safety of personnel on the flight deck.
