The Indians (and even Pakistanis) sure do miss, W, esp. given how Sec.
FRom the looks of things, this guy is going to be far worse than Clinton's 8 year rec period in the Oval Office. the Obamanation's term is over 20% past now, but it's going to be a long three years of him dodging any responsibility for what he's done.

Was reading an article in the WaPo about Obama skipping town just as the economic news gets released. Read the comments and most of them seemed to be from the left and, almost to a person, expressed disdain for the President. A few pointed out that Obama has supposedly played more golf in the first year than any President before - "even more than George Bush" one disappointed liberal wailed. Well IIRC correctly George W. Bush quietly gave up playing golf, "for the duration" saying that he did not think it set the right tone for a President to be playing golf while sending men and women to war.

Now I'm not one to think a President needs to take a vow of recreational poverty while in office but the incident points out another contrast in leadership styles that makes one President grow in statue and another continue to sink in my opinion.

If I hear the WON say "my administration" one more time, I will run from the room screaming. Here is a news flash, you overly self-absorbed narcissist -- it isn't all about you. I thought Clinton was self-absorbed, but he doesn't begin to measure up to what we have now. The two are bad book ends to GWB's stoicism.

There -- I feel so much better now.

OTOH, Phib linked to the very same post and was granted a Troll Fest. I just check the Hillbuzz post and there is over 500 comments, mostly favorable to "W" and the post. Amazing!

Its kind of like as a kid and your Old Man is making you do stuff that you'd rather not and you thought he wasn't cool. Then when you get old enough to appreciate the values instilled the Old Man becomes the one you wish you could grow up to be.

Bush told us things we didn't want to hear and had the courage to stay the course no matter how much wailing there was.

Of course now we've got a President who's chief aim appears not to want to "offend" anyone, especially our enemies. That he is getting no respect and Bush looks better every day shouldn't be surprising. Not to say the President isn't liked - what kid doesn't like a parent who let's them skip school, never do chores, and promises to take them to Disney World without telling them they will have to pay for it in their old age.
