    Here we go again … with ‘let’s all dump on Sarah. In the most unfair way we know… because she didn’t graduate from the Ivy League schools and doesn’t seem to be bothered by it.’ Dammit.

    Ahh, well. Her bright spirit will rise above it, as it has before. When will those carping folks learn, that their vicious comments tell us far more about them than they do about their target.

    The AP starts with this one:

    PALIN: Says she made frugality a point when traveling on state business as Alaska governor, asking “only” for reasonably priced rooms and not “often” going for the “high-end, robe-and-slippers” hotels.

    THE FACTS: Although she usually opted for less-pricey hotels while governor, Palin and daughter Bristol stayed five days and four nights at the $707.29-per-night Essex House luxury hotel (robes and slippers come standard) for a five-hour women’s leadership conference in New York in October 2007. With air fare, the cost to Alaska was well over $3,000.

    This is frankly pathetic. Palin says she didn’t “often” stay at high-end hotels, and the AP counters by saying she did, once. Yes, that’s why she said “not often” rather than “never.” What is indisputable is that Palin sold the Governor’s private jet and flew commercial, thereby saving the taxpayers a large amount of money and qualifying her as a frugal traveler.

    They must really be afraid of her. That is the only reason to keep attacking her. Or just pure, bigoted hatered for a woman who does not fit into the leftist stereotype of what a powerful woman is supposed to be.

    These eleven crack AP storm troopers must have been the ones that parachuted into Wasilla last year to dumpster dive. THey have much to be proud of.

    Again, I have to ask, along with a chorus of millions of others, where was the similar fact checking with BOZUS?

    Between their Palin obsession and the ongoing fiction that the First Lady is some sort of fashion icon, the media in this country is circling the drain at an ever-increasing rate. It’s too bad Steyn is a Canuck with an English accent, for a Palin/Steyn 2012 ticket would be worth it just for the spectacle of all the media weenies groping for their anti-seizure medication…..

    The media and the career politicians genuinely FEAR this woman like no other!

    You can tell a lot about people by looking at their enemies. Having done so, I think that having Sarah Palin in ANY elected or appointed office would be the best thing to happen to this country since election of Ronald Reagan.

    How many fact checkers has AP assigned to the Healthcare bill claims made by Obama? What about Obama’s academic accomplishments? ACORN corruption? Major Hasan’s connections with terror groups?

    AP is a bunch of lying weasels pushing their own agenda, which happens to coincide with that of the White House.

    I will buy a copy of Palin’s book. Just to piss off the liberals.

    Mark Steyn has a follow-up. He points out that Soros has 3 fact-checkers who are fact-checking his story on the 11 AP fact-checkers of Sarah.

    But when someone dares to fact check he anointed one,all hell breaks loose. The even fact check a SNL skit about him.
