Frankly, I think it's pretty narrow-minded to say that those who are Democrats are "mostly anti-American." Just because someone has a different view of the best way to run the country doesn't make them unpatriotic. I may not have agreed with a lot of President Bush's policies, but I believe that he thought he was doing what was right for the country at the time and I certainly would not call him anti-American just because I didn't agree with his policies.

I thought Chris Matthews was exactly right, from the Obama perspective.

It's doubtful that Obama ever visited a military installation before he was voted into the US Senate. As far as I can tell, only two people in his circle of friends ever had a reason to regularly visit Army facilities in the past.

When they were planting bombs to bring the war home on behalf of the Viet Cong.

If you're just one of the guys in Obama's neighborhood, you're far more likely to have "served" in the Weather Underground furthering the cause of international socialism than in uniform. So in his neck of the woods the military is the enemy camp. In every sense of the word.

Mr. Matthews is very proud of his PC experience, references it often, and believes he contributed more to the world than had he joined the evil, knuckle dragging military. Chris has commented more than once about his superior moral/ethical values.

Such a shame that the marketplace values him so much.

All you need to know about Chris Matthews is that back in the day, along with a lot of other whimps, he choose to serve in the utterly useless Peace Corps as a way of avoiding the military ...his spots haven't changed. Best
