Some are just pathetic.

The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. What a loathsome creature.
Wow! Why weren’t words such as this written decades ago about Edward Moore Kennedy.
Now speaking of tanks, who is this former Ma$$hole in the tank for? and where would he be without the proper guidance of his predecessors?
Pathetic is correct! Back to rahab you go!
His old man taught him well. This jerk can’t go out the door soon enough.
Yes, he has worn out his welcome and has some serious issues…The nature of these situations should be cause for pity more than deride the addled man….I don’t excuse any of the behaviors as it comes from a sense of “ENTITLEMENT” whihc was the downfall for Martha Coakley….The “Don’t-You-Know-Who-I-AM” factor is a disease that effects more than Kennedy Jr. – It afflicts many more of the 534 OTHER members of Congress….
As a resident of Massachusetts, I have always had a difficult time with some from our neighboring state as it has it’s own whacky culture….as my Dad is fond of saying, ” You never know about those Rhode Island people…”
13 percent unemployment in RI is not solely Kennedy Jr.’s problem…it is equally the responsibility of ALL in RI LOCAL Government & their Congressional detatchment……
His head would look good over the mantle in the GOP library.
I stopped reading the article at “Senator Paris Hilton”. What a terrifying thought, then I realized that she has the same qualifications as Ted Kennedy had when he was elected.
The nut doesn’t fall far from the bush.
Kennedy just named himself as “The Joke”. The skunk smells his own hole first!
Is that the same Patrick Kennedy who associated himself with totally nonsensical explanations of why people are autistic? Like thimerosol and measles vaccines?
Maybe we’d have thought better of that family if Joe Jr. had lived. The rest seem to be a sorry bunch.
Being a sorry Kennedy seems to be genetically inherited.
Being autistic also seems to be genetically inherited.
There’s a difference: I think most auties are more honest and more honorable than are most Kennedies.
UPDATE – From WBZ-TV in BOSTON
Feb 11, 2010 11:33 pm US/Eastern Kennedy Won’t Run For Re-Election In RI
Rep. Patrick Kennedy has decided not to seek re-election to Congress, saying his life is “taking a new direction” just months after the death of his father and mentor, Sen. Edward Kennedy.
The Rhode Island Democrat taped a message to be aired on the state’s television stations Sunday night. The Associated Press viewed the message Thursday, ahead of the announcement.
“Now having spent two decades in politics, my life is taking a new direction, and I will not be a candidate for re-election this year,” Kennedy says in the ad.
The decision by the eight-term congressman comes less than a month after a stunning Republican upset in the race for the Massachusetts Senate seat his father held for almost half a century.
Patrick Kennedy has been in and out of treatment for substance abuse since crashing his car outside the U.S Capitol in 2006. Still, he has been comfortably re-elected twice since then, after making mental health care his signature issue in Washington.
In the taped message, Kennedy says he remains committed to public service. He also thanked Rhode Island voters for supporting him through ups and downs.
“When I made missteps or suffered setbacks, you responded not with contempt, but compassion,” he said. “Thank you for all the times you lifted me up, pushed me forward.”
He was not specific about his plans, but said he would continue to fight for issues including on behalf of those suffering from depression, addiction autism and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Finally! It’s OVER. Patrick Kennedy won’t run for re-election so he might give more time to his rehab efforts.
