Targets of Opportunityblog advertising is good for you Credo"Sign on, young man, and sail with me. The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong, and the free. Heed my call, Come to the sea. Come Sail with me." -- John Paul Jones "Pardon him, Theodotus; he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature" --George Bernard Shaw, "Caesar and Cleopatra" "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friedrich Nietzsche "A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate."--Edmund Burke “You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours.”--General Sir Charles Napier "Μολὼν λαβέ" -- Leonidas "Blogito Ergo Sum" -- Neptunus Lex Amazon AssociateFor the Effort!Winnar!![]() Subscribe![]() CategoriesPagesTagsacademy

Wow. That man makes me wish I lived in Wisconsin so I could have the pleasure of saying that I voted for him.
“Speaking truth to power!”
Virgil, you took the words right outta my mouth !!! We send along a BRAVO ZULU to the learned gentleman from Wisconsin!!
O’bamma’s reply? “Yes, but we’re gonna do it my way.”
Was it just me or when you watched the expression on the presidents face did you think of Chevy Chase’s famous Gerald Ford skit and that line…
“It was my understanding that there would be no math.”.
Good on you Paul Ryan!
Wow! He just made me extremely glad we moved from Illinois to Wisconsin.
Chris
Yeah, BHO’s expression was a classic “deer in the headlight”. Hasn’t a clue about what is being said. He is only glad that there are not more like Ryan on the other side of the aisle.
Put Ryan on a road show – we need more like him.
Road Show! Yes, indeed!
Very nice job.
Paul Ryan for President!
Well the Republicans–pretty much all of them–were prepared, suited up and came to play yesterday. And Obama did okay–he was the best the Dems had. But he needed help, and his bench was weak.
Look@5:25 of the vid! Obama is flipping off Ryan!
The first time he used he middle finger in the campaign and was caught on You Tube one could explain it away perhaps as an unconscious act. And even a couple of subsequent times as one might plausibly chalk it up to unconscious habit. But SO MUCH has been made of it by now I cannot believe that Obama is not aware of the public commentary/critique from his opponents such that he would be especially sensitive to it’s use. Thus I am forced to conclude he is just as childish and petulant as his worst critics charge (which would include me in any event.)
I’m not sure he is flipping Ryan the bird. I can’t the 3rd and 4th fingers, so there is some doubt in my mind. I would certainly agree with the accusation of childihness and petulance on Obama’s part though. There’s been enough data to support such a conclusion.
My faith in congress has expanded to one
Yep. Fire them all except for Ryan.
Greetings:
What I found interesting was President Obama’s eye-blink rate while he was listening (and steaming) to the Congressman.
