Thank you Professor Fish, I couldn’t agree with you more.

The throw away line “indistinguishable from the Professional Obama Haters” really shows his back to world.

I haven’t met “professional Obama Haters,” although I’ve certainly met a lot of people that hate his agenda. It really is a shame Fish can’t see the difference.

Now the other side? heh, heh, heh. They hated Bush because he was their kinda guy on so much social policy, he just didn’t deign to wear the same label as the liberals like to see worn. Bush derangement syndrome was quite real and probably should be placed in the DSM.

I got thru page one of 33 and quit before *I* was pasted personally IN the DSM….

Was there anything he wrote worth reading? nyt, huffpo, dailykos are site I will not visit under any circumstances.I will not give them a hit for their revenues.

  • QM, the Obama haters aren’t that hard to find. Just cruise around the more popular (and more vehement) conservative blogs. Obama is a Muslim, Obama is a crypto-communist/marxist, Obama hates America, and he plans to deliberately destroy our country, etc. That’s just as silly as saying Bush invaded Iraq for oil profits, or knew about 9/11 ahead of time.

SoCal, don’t bite off your nose to spite your own face. Your single hit would have only one tiny iota of effect on their traffic count. :) Yes, it was worth reading. You can skip the comments, though. Most of ‘em ran 50/50 between “worst. president. ever.” and “all our current problems are Bush’s fault!” Feh.

Heck, I even miss Clinton myself. If we have to have a Democrat in the White House, he’s better than Barry by far. Excuse the alliteration. :)

Casey, either you are over-simplifying to advance your ideological pov, or your mind is more unsubtle than I had thought. Most of the conservative blogs to which you refer don’t claim Obama is a practicing Muslim per se, rather, they cite much in his educational background (his being taught in a Muslim school in Indonesia, his ability to approvingly cite long passages in the Koran, his writings prior to being elected) and the fact his first major speech abroad was given in the Mid-East with an apology to the Muslim world that was–for all practical purposes an apology for America’s very existence–combined with the fact that so much of his formative years saw him living abroad and educated in foreign Muslim schools–as proof that serious doubts exist as to whether Obama’s fealty to the concept of America is congruent with either that of our Founding Fathers or the American public at large. Additionally, such blogs point out the undeniable fact that, from the pov of Muslims, from a theological standpoint as dictated by the Koran, Obama, born of a Muslim father, IS, in fact, a Muslim. But no sane blogs that *I* have read claim that he is an outright practicing Muslim.

As for being a crypto-communist/marxist? Have you read his writings? His published views? His interviews on national TV preserved on You Tube? “A Rose by any other name…” is my answer to you, Casey. And does he “hate” America? Most certainly yes–as presently constituted–in terms of it’s form of government and social organization. He has been quite clear on that in so many words without actually using the word “hate”–but he is quite clear on his plans to totally change–NOT modify–the present system. Remember, the “Hollywood 10″ considered themselves patriots and loyal Americans (even as they were card-carrying members of the Communist Party) who loved their country too–they just thought it ‘misguided” and that it would be just peachy-keen if America were under a Communist–nay, the Stalinist version–government and secretly worked to bring that about. If they had had their way we would have all been living under some form of American Stalinism. That they did not succeed is of no matter–”it’s the thought that counts.” And so it is with Obama. I am sure he in his own mind truly believes he loves America–just as did the Hollywood 10–it’s just that the America he loves is the one he would hopefully utterly transform to his statist, redistributionist, crypto-marxian “social-democratic” ideal.

Unfortunately, Casey, those of us infected with the “ODS” have a solid foundation of facts and actions upon which to base our “fear & loathing.”

I’ll trust you guys on this one. I wouldn’t shred NYT to put at the bottom of the bird cage, for fear the hateful vibes would turn the birds psychopathic.

The poster is reminiscent of something a guy has in SW Washington alongside I-5. When I saw the picture above, it’s kinda funny but my heart actually leapt a bit “Hey Boss Dubbya! How’s it goin, Bub?”

It’s wonderful that the billboard is of all places, here in uber-left Minnesota. Pockets of resistance everywhere, I tell ya!

  • Asking the wrong question……..

Lex and others have taken a great deal of pride in flashing this picture around-and then with a certain amount of snarkiness proclaiming how great it was under George W. Bush. Sad to see how short peoples memories really are: Let’s just say for a…

Byron, Skippy, alas, sees what he wants and ignores the rest. Lex said nothing about great it was under Bush. I have to wonder if being far from his residence of choice isn’t affecting eyesight as well as his thought processes.

  • Byron

Gotta respect Skippy for fighting the good fight even after his side won the battle ;)

Poor babies. Their secular messiah has feet of clay.

I guess nobody told them that all messiahs do…

All things considered, GW did damn well in a very tough job. The frat boy grew up. I do miss him.
