Gendercide

Between the two of them, China and India are raising a cohort of some hundred million men who will never know the civilizing, rooting influence of marriage:

Asia is “missing” about 96 million women — the vast majority in China and India — who died from discriminatory health care and neglect or who were never born at all, the UN estimated on Monday.

Female infanticide and sex-selective abortion have caused a severe gender imbalance in Asia, and the problem is worsening despite rapid economic growth in the region, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) report said.

“The old mindset with its preference for male children has now combined with modern medical technology” that makes it easier to predict and abort unborn girls, said Anuradha Rajivan, the report’s lead author.

“It is not just female infanticide but sex-selective abortion of unborn girls that cause so-called ‘missing’ females,” she said, contrasting the issue with recent improvements in female life expectancy and education.

The UNDP report found that East Asia had the world’s highest male-female sex ratio at birth, with 119 boys born for every 100 girls.

This far exceeded the global world average of 107 boys for every 100 girls.

“Females cannot take survival for granted,” it said.

No, nor may many of those men, if history is any judge.

Lots of out-of-work, woman-less, teen-age males hanging around street corners has never augured well for the prospects of societal peace.

Sounds like a perfect breeding ground for the Jihadists…guess we have to hope that India remains on good economic stance….remove a growing economy from that place and you will have the lid blow off the pot…ugh!

Beware! The Moderation Trolls are out!

  • Yet U.S. women, conflicted by their zest for gender liberation, remain complacently blind toward the rising tide of male demographics in Asia and the liklihood of a world war it may foretell. Likewise, the growing footprint of a religion that considers females breeding chattel appears not to threaten our liberated women in the least.

Consequently, a majority of voters (mostly female) have no difficulty making gender inroads that
    weaken our military readiness.

Vigils..so my 2 very successful daughters (MBA’s)..each having 2 children..should have just stayed home and had 1 dozen offspring, in your ideal world?

      • ProwlerAMDO

Ehh . . . no I don’t think that was the point he was making. At all.

      • Quite the contrary. You and your daughters should pray daily for the warriors of the US military to be freed from stupid politically correct initiatives and PC training topics on how to be fair to every ethnicity and gender under the sun, and go back to the business of preparing to kill 100 million men from the other side of the globe who are going to take and keep any and all women they can capture as their own, most likely under the loose guise of religious rule, and hormonal fervor.

I do believe the point being made here is that 100 million men with no chance of ever finding the sweet and gentle touch of a woman to grace their lives are more likely to be motivated to take what is not rightfullt theirs, and use her as they see fit.

Perhaps your 2 MBA educated daughters can explain to you (and the rest of us) how they would prevent the massive conflicts this eventuality might just conceivably bring about? Diplomacy, perhaps? It’s worked so well in Iran, Iraq, Communist China, North Korea, and VietNam to moderate those countries views on which gender is the fairer, and which ideology is more benign.

History is so full of examples where diplomacy of the weak has worked so well to their advantage. Idn’t it?

Well..first of all.4 of my immediate family ..including myself..have served in the Navy on active duty..one dying on active duty..

My daughters pay their taxes, and serve as good citizens. I misunderstood the point being made, apparently..

I am not sure this is the case.

I was not aware of the Sino-Indidan war, which started the year I was born. Just goes to show you, there’s always more to learn.

Warfare at 14,000 plus feet? I tried to run across the parking lot on Pikes Peak once and it took 10 minutes to get my breath back. Fighting a war? I don’t think so.

And as for all those men, looking for women? All I can say is darn glad I’ve already got mind.

    • Idaho Joe

      Oops, meant mine.

    • A lot of the fighting along the Afghan-Pakistan border takes place above 14,000 feet, Joe. The Pakistani Frontier Corps maintains outposts at the 5,000 *meter* line in the Hindu Kush, and I know where there’s a Pak Army liaison helicopter frozen into the snow — at 16,500 feet.

Ah yes, agent 6, Specter’s plan is coming to fruition. How else would we have assembled an army of 100 million driven by maniacal lust? And those western fools think that abortion is simply “a choice”. Hah hah hah.

    • ProwlerAMDO

Ladies and gentlemen, we will increase the male to female gender ratio in the two world’s most populous nations, who happen to share a significant land border, greatly increasing the chances of war between them, UNLESS the world pays us a hefty sum of ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!

Sir, this too has already happned.

      Sh*t.

  • David Curp

This is not going to end well.

These guys have been fighting wars for millenia at those heights. People who want to kill other people in the name of fanaticism will find a way. They found a way with clubs, they found a way with spears, they found a way with swords, they found a way with single-shot carbines, and they’ll find a way with modern weaponry. The conditions change things some, but if you were born at 5,000 or 6,000 foot elevations then you’ll find a way to fight under these conditions.

      RonF/Idaho Joe.

While in ROTC summer camp in 1965 at Lockbourne AFB, Columbus, OH, (a KC-135/C-130 base at the time) I had a chance to talk to some young 1/lt C-130 drivers who had been part of the US supply effort to India after the cease-fire in Nov of 62. Had some interesting comments about landing on icy, canted runways on the mountain-side @ 10,000″ AGL. Not for the faint of heart…

      • *koff*

Virg, “AGL” means “Above Ground Level” — IOW, in mid-air. Runway elevations are MSL — measured above “Mean Sea Level.”

That said, I’ve hovered at 3 feet AGL while I was at 13,600 MSL. ‘Twas a bit too steep to land without tumbling 6,000 feet downslope at 0 feet AGL…

Forgive him, Bill, he was Air Force.

Geeze, did I say that? Must have been a low whiskey front that rolled in as I was having my morning coffee & Barbancourt. That’s pretty basic–talk about embarrassed!

Funny thing is, Russia has this amazing abundance of women who live as long as western women, but men who are dying ever younger, now somewhere around 53 or 56 for lifespan. Surplus blonde and red-haired russian women, surplus Chinese and Indian men. Oh, my, this could get interesting.

  • CitadelGrad

We ought to hook up India and China with the Russian Mail Order Bride service, Zane.

If said Mail Order Brides are pictured with burkhas, it might work. Otherwise, not so much.

      • Quartermaster

Anyone who understands Russian Women’s desire to look fashionable, they’d be ROFL. They’re about like our women in the period of 1940-1960. My mother wouldn’t have been caught dead outside dressed like many young women are these days.

Who said Orcs were merely ficticious inventions of J.R.R. Tolkien. Asia is now creating a real version. As David Curp stated, it won’t end well and it has dire implications for this country.
