Thanks for the link Ian, I hadn’t heard of that show. I’ll look for it when the new season starts.
There should be plenty of interesting Alaska flying stories. I’d always heard there are more pilot licenses up there than car or truck driving licenses.

How’s that compare to the odds Chez Lex?
Our airline (121 passenger and cargo) was approached by a reality show production company and asked if we would do something similar. Because so much of our work is DoD related, we declined. We do have an assortment of people stories (who’s boinking who, jealousy, intrigue, hangovers, power mongers, Darwin award winners, etc.) that would be a soap opera writers dream but displaying that sort of dirty underwear for public consumption did not fit with the company image we wanted to portray. Our new class of flight attendants would be some great eye candy……..
Everything on those links states it starts January 5, but the Discovery site says it starts on January 14 at 2100.No wonder I couldn’t find it on TiVo!
I’ll definitely check it out – but I found my first reality show in ‘Ice Pilots.’ Worth checking out, as long as the dramatic music everytime there’s a go around doesn’t drive you nuts.
It was worth putting up with the “dramatics” just to hear and see those piston props fly.
The tv production company must of silently whooped with joy when the Turkish trainee pilot put down that CL-125 sans gears, right in front of the cameras.
