Afghan security leadership reports progress, of a sort:

Afghanistan is expected to sign a formal agreement with the United Nations on Sunday to stop the recruitment of children into its police forces and ban the common practice of boys being used as sex slaves by military commanders, according to Afghan and United Nations officials.

We need to get these guys to Fleet Week in New York. A few beers, take the edge off.

Always said we could end the war by parachuting a few cases of Jack Daniels into the Tali-tubbies backyards and let them get taste….

This is worth the blood and treasure we are expending there to do something in Afghanistan?

We cannot save everyone, and the human debris cluttering many of our cities are barely beyond this stage of degeneracy.

Perhaps our efforts would be better spent trying to restore/instill decency and civility and freedom among our own citizenry.

As if there is any type of central, meaningful Central Authority in the AF.

The AF’s will continue with their grotesque, abusive and morally repugnant ways regardless of what is put on paper.

I don’t really give a rats a$$ about the Afghanis – I think it’s worthwhile to kill as many Taliban as possible on that side of the world. They supported Bin Ladin so it’s personal.

best not let them see the “Gay Pride” stuff, or they’ll realise how wrong they are to swear off using boys as sex slaves.
