EAST-CHINA SEA (Mar. 5, 2007) – An E-2C Hawkeye, assigned to the “Black Eagles” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 113, prepares to launch from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The Hawkeye will guide lost and helpless Hornet Pilots as they search for the nearest tanker so they can stay aloft for the entire one hour and twenty minute cycle. I couldn’t help but notice that you’ve posted an image of a REAL Navy airplane. One with props…..

Was up at Atsugi today and watched the new 8 blade VAW-115 birds going around the pattern It just does not sound like a hummer should sound.
