Isn’t that Habitat…left over from the World’s Fair in Montreal?

I’m pretty sure it is…

Wow that really is amazing. I’d never seen or heard of it before and it certainly looks a little more than bizarre. And I read the Wikipedia link you provided Buck – what a shame that the original vision of affordable housing has been torpedoed due to the architectural ‘cache’ about the place.

I think I’m dizzy.

I can hear it now, “Which way to my place, AGAIN???”

Cool looking, but practical? Not so much.

Uh-oh, age revealing moment ahead – I well remember visiting the World Fair in Montreal as a kid and seeing a whole lot of bizzare architecture. Still recall the US exhibit (the sphere) looking like lizard skin in the bright sun…and some other memorable moments to include a whopping dose of food poisoning from eating at the fair…

Legos gone wild?

That’s pretty wild and crazy. Cool though!

I almost think I could live there, at least for a little while.
The two pictures in Kris’ link showing the water… I like being near the water.

But I think we need Deborah here, she’s kind of a next door neighbour to Quebec. Moi? All I can say is that the Quebecois have always been a little… shall we say unusual?
[I'm not really into political correctness, but I do believe that some was in play in that comment]
