The French — I think I like them….

Since President Sarkozy has approached the US in a more friendly light, and since he has vacationed in one of my favorite states — Nouveau Hampshire  (not some sand covered country on the south shores the Med) – I’ve begun to take a liking to the French. SJSal and I have both taken up buying bottles of the French grape, the French cheese, and the French Pastis every now and then. After all, France is now to the right of most California wineries (a strong exception being the Bruno Benziger winery that produces the Marines’ Memorial Club house wines).

I doubled my wine order when I saw some Frenchman called the Dissident Frogman, who just rips the AFP to pieces over the “Bullets hit my House” thing reported about a fortnight ago or so. You can receive some expert educamation on bullets vs. cartridges by clicking right here and again on his self produced vid.

And for you lecteurs de Français, much of the site is bi-lingual.

Props to Chap for the intro.

I’m still sticking to my beloved Super Tuscan Red wine – if you can find “Le Volte”, it’s worth whatever price it takes to acquire it.

That said, I’m warming to the French (from France, not to impugn the Canadians among us)…just warming.

‘Tis okay with me.
Most of us ain’t French anyway.
And in my own personal experience, I find a lot of them to be very … shall we say, high maintenance?
