It may be pretty, but it ain’t a good old A-6E TRAM with lots of BOMBS. And just for you Pinch, A KA-6D with five drops and a tanker package. Pretty don’t win fights. Lots of BOMBS do.

Speaking as a photographer, that is a HARD shot to get. Nearly impossible without luck and timing on your side. Can’t plan for it – it either happens or it doesn’t.
All I can say is – thank god for digital. And a sky full of jets.
