Thank you Bruce. This last one really struck a cord with me. I remember being at a parents meeting of USNA several years ago and a mother comepletely breaking down because she had received a photo of her son praying before stepping out…
Faith is something we carry with us be it religous or national. Faith that we will be doing the right thing. That is all the American people can ask of its military. And, many have chosen to decide against it…
Your photo and countless whitneses to what has taken place in Iraq and Afghanistan just prove to me what “faith” is all about; it is the trusting of our sons and daughters to do the right thing which I am certain in my heart they are doing.
I wish that you would continue your photo essay up on the Flight Deck. It is a daily source of inspiration to me…

Babs,
I’m glad you got something out of them. I can’t take credit, however; these were part of a Powerpoint presentation Bill Coffey put together, and I was at the end of the email chain. I just posted them, with a little minor editing to avoid some with coarser humor or language. While I doubt the ladies who visit here would blush at them, you are our better halves and it behooves me to act accordingly.
Once I get another set of photos I’ll look at sharing them. In the meantime, you may want to check out Military Motivators (militarymotivator.blogspot.com [the link isn't reading correctly in preview]); they’ve got some good ones too.
