Boy does that bring back memories. I was reloading shotgun shells in my grandfather’s basement at about the same age, along with .222 Remington rounds. Grandpa was firmly of the belief that a handy shotgun and a 40-mile commute back home rather than the 10-mile commute he had on the way in was proof positive that God wanted us to hunt pheasant and one should have plenty of ammunition handy for the endeavor.

I do so miss hunting with him, even though at every missed shot I thought I must be an embarrasment to him. Wasn’t until
later I found that he too missed once or twice as a kid.
