If any DC area Flight-Deckers are out an about on Saturday the 4th of December, I wanted to pass this along to you.
The Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Fairfax, VA (12193 Fair Lakes Promenade Drive) is having a sale, but that’s not the reason I’m mentioning it.
From 3-5 PM, LtCol Seth Folsom will sign his two memoirs — “In the Gray Area: A Marine Advisor Team at War”, and his award-winning “The Highway War: A Marine Company Commander in Iraq.” Both of LtCol Folsom’s books are excellent, and I can’t recommend them enough.
He also happens to be an old friend of yours truly.

He can’t be an older friend to you than he is to me; I knew him when he was 2ndLt Folsom in my platoon at TBS. I’ve read The Highway War, but not the other one – will have to put it on my Christmas list!

Padre,
Pretty much all the guys on my gift list are getting his new book this year. I met Seth when we were probably 9 or 10. We went to elementary school together.
