Just a quick note of thanks to Lex for letting us be a part of his world; and by default, a part of the world of naval aviation.

A quick history: Born in Austin, Texas, attended North Texas State University until I was able to convince them that I was not a good fit for the academic community, served for a period of time in the Navy before leaving with a medical discharge, returned to civilian life and attended college to become a registered nurse, worked for a number of years in the emergency room at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, married the most wonderful lady in the world, moved to Denver where we have become the parents of four incredible children, continue to put one foot in front of the next in an attempt to finish the race in a manner that would not bring discredit to the Lord.

Passions: My faith, my family, cooking, the study of naval aviation during WWII, as well as things nautical in general, and irritating those whose political inclinations lean a bit to the port.

Employment: Currently evaluating homeowner losses for a left coast based company that contracts with insurance carriers.

Past employment US Navy (corpsman), registerd nurse (in civilian life after the navy and college), cook, appliance salesman (one rung up the ladder from car salesman)

Things I wish I had done: learned to fly, learned to scuba dive, made a career of the Navy

The Future: Retire with enough money to do some traveling, spend the time with my grandsons that I should have spent, but, was not able to spend with my kids, continue to nurish and enjoy the “best friends” relationship that I started with my wife some thirty-eight years ago.
