Just a quick note before this post locks up, to say how much I miss Lex and how much I miss all of you. We have what we have elsewhere on Facebook and The Lexicans, but it's kind of like being on perpetual det away from homeplate. There's no ready room like the one back at squadron spaces, and this one is unsurpassed.

Thanks to everyone for the many enjoyable hours down many a rabbit hole. Alice never had it so good.

Thanks to the LeFon family for keeping this blog alive, and for being courageous enough to allow us into your personal and private lives. It means everything to me, and, I'm sure, to all who attend here. I pray God's choicest blessings be poured out upon you daily, as He guides you through your mortal journey. We joke about Guinness and Jameson's for strength and courage (well, maybe we do), but we know their true source.

Most of all, thanks to Lex for giving birth and momentum to a place where people can come and enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship of so many great and wonderful souls. I can only imagine the new conversations he started, once checked in to his new duty station surrounded by family and friends.

Til next, when Quarters is sounded!

Lex left a profound impact on all those that he touched virtually and those that had the pleasure of meeting him in person. I share the sentiment with all those here that we both appreciated the man he was and the legacy he left. We all miss him and extend our best to Mary and the rest of the family.

Ah! I saw this but too late! Training and deployment have their downsides I guess. 'Twas only for a quick glimpse at some old St. Paddy's posts of year's past that I happened to stop by these humble digs.

Guinness - for strength!
Jameson - for courage!

Happy St. Pat's Day, to Lex and company!

I miss reading his entries here every day. I still use this as my daily portal. It seemed to me sometimes that he was the most sane man on the Internet, and he held back very little of what he shared with us. I can't make it out to Shakespeare's from Chicago, but I can have a glass of Guiness - for strength! - in his honor. God blessed you with having him as a father and spouse. May God continue to bless you all.
